Reading Logs are given each week, unless we have a very short week. We have two versions of reading logs this year. Students can choose to do a paper reading log OR an online reading log known as Whooosreading.
Whooosreading - is a differentiated interactive website where students log on and answer questions by typing or speech-to-text voice recordings. Whooosreading can be found here: www.whooosreading.org
Students who choose to do Whooosreading MUST complete the following each week:
- 4 journal entries OR
- 2 quizzes OR
- 2 journal entries and 1 quiz
Reading Logs are due on Friday. A reading log week starts on a Saturday and goes until Friday of the following week.
Students have been given their user name and password on a small white card. This card has been stapled into their homework folders. If your child loses their card, please let me know immediately and I will print them off a new one.
**Since the program can be differentiated, please let me know if the questions are too hard or too easy and I can make adjustments to your child's program.**
PAPER Reading Logs -
If your child chooses to complete a paper reading log, they can get one from the front board under the Homework sign, each Monday. It still needs to be turned in each Friday. They must complete ALL of the paper reading log.
